Parking Pal is a community-driven truck parking database designed to help drivers find suitable parking locations across the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name and any information you choose to add to your profile. Parking Pal may access your device location to help you find nearby parking locations, view your position on the map and navigate to selected parking locations. Your precise location is not shared publicly with other users of the app.

We also collect information you submit to the app including comments, parking location submissions, location updates, food options and feedback.

How We Use Information

Information is used to provide and improve the Parking Pal service, moderate community content and maintain the parking database.

Sharing of Information

Parking Pal does not sell, rent or trade personal information to third parties. Information may be shared with trusted service providers where necessary to operate, maintain and secure the Parking Pal service. These providers are only given access to information required to perform their services on our behalf. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or where necessary to protect the safety, rights and security of Parking Pal, its users or the public.

Account Deletion

Users may delete their account directly within the app by navigating to the Account section and selecting Delete Account.

Personal account information is removed from our systems. Community contributions such as comments, location submissions and update history may remain in anonymised form to preserve the integrity of the database.
